SNHBA/HomeAid Southern Nevada Installation and Awards Luncheon

More than 350 members and special guests attended the SNHBA/HomeAid Southern Nevada Installation and Awards Luncheon, sponsored by CAMCO, on December 7 at the Four Seasons Hotel Ballroom. The association recognized the commitment and service to the association and its HomeAid chapter by members, companies, supporters and the 2017 officers and directors; and welcomed the incoming 2018 officers and directors. Oktoberfest” Membership Networking Mixer

About 100 SNHBA members and special guests turned out for the “Oktoberfest” Membership Networking Mixer, hosted by member, The Landwell Co./Cadence, the evening of October 19 at the new Adventure Park at the Cadence master-planned community in Henderson. Proceeds from the mixer will be donated to the Las Vegas Victims’ Fund to assist those impacted by the 1 October shooting on the Strip. SNHBA salutes The Landwell Co. and the Cadence team for their outstanding hospitality.

2017 Fall Builders Golf Classic

SNHBA thanks all those involved in the phenomenal success of the 2017 Fall Builders Golf Classic, hosted by member, Central Valley Insulation, on October 13 at the beautiful Angel Park Golf Club. The association played 36 holes on both courses at Angel Park.

SNHBA Nat Hodgson Roast Dinner Meeting

Nearly 300 SNHBA members turned out for the members-only “Turn the Tables” Night/Associate Member Appreciation Networking Mixer on September 27 at the Orleans Hotel Conference Center. Representatives from more than 20 Builder-member companies met one-on-one, face-to-face with the association’s Associate members who had a special opportunity to tell the builders about their products and services. SNHBA salutes the mixer sponsor, NV Energy.

SNHBA Recruitment Night Mixer

SNHBA “Recruitment Night” Mixer on September 12 at the Orleans Hotel Conference Center was a huge success – 13 attendees joined the association that evening. The association thanks our speakers, who talked about the benefits of SNHBA membership – Rocky Cochran of Pardee Homes, Scott Donnelly of Cooper Roofing and Solar, Rebecca Merrihew of Red Rock Insulation, and Kevin Newell of First American Title Co. SNHBA also thanks the members of the Membership Committee who assisted at the event – Claire DeJesus of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Commitee Chairman Curt Friedman of Pardee Homes, David Fortner of Hydro-Arch, Pam Guttman and Garo Injasoulian of Customized Safety & Quality Solutions, JJ Kingery of Richmond American Homes, Kendal Lay of Pacific Sunbelt Mortgage, and Dan Wright of Toll Brothers. Two attendees who signed up at that night won prizes: Juan Torres of J and J Glass won an Apple IPad, and Thomas Hellums of Dwyer Engineering won the grand-prize of a 55-inch Sony HDTV. Also, our member, Tonja Maholick of Gothic Landscape, won 2-Amazon Echo dots.
